Getting to Elephant Valley
By road: A tarmac road links elephant valley with the main highways leading to Coimbatore, Madurai or Chennai. There are two routes to elephant valley, one via Vathalagundu the other via Palani. From Vathalagundu go up to Perumalmalai and take the Palani Road.After 2 km take a left tun to Ganesh Puram. From Palani 2 km before Perumal Malai take a right to Ganesh Puram. Elephant Valley is located at the end of this road.
By train: Chennai and Bangalore are both well connected by rail to Kodai Road, Madurai or Coimbatore Stations. From any of these rail heads, it will take you around 3 hours to reach elephant valley.
By Air: The nearest airport are Madurai and Coimbatore which is around 3 hours by car.

Climate
Elephant Valley is at an altitude of 1200-1300 Mt. The climate is moderate with a good distribution of rainfall throughout the year. The temperature fluctuates between 18 and 28 ° C in summer and 8-22 winter.
