To be protected and to be conserved, food plant bio-diversity has to be available, known, eaten and consumed by people.The future of ancient seeds, our common genetic-cultural heritage, will be ensured only if those varieties are part of our daily diet.A healthy food grown from real seeds and by a clean agriculture has to find back its place in our daily life and should be supported by a conscious choice from the consumers.
Elephant valley is working toward the development of a network of organic producers directly linked with a consumers.Our aim is to promote the availability of authentic organic products in India. Elephant valley vegetables are already available at a few retail stores in Chennai, at the International Township of Auroville, Pondicherry.
We hope in the close future to increase our seed availability and so for the capacity to produce in quantity fresh vegetables.
